Guided tours

The Tourism and Pilgrimages Pastoral Office of the Diocese of Venice, in collaboration with the Procuratoria of St. Mark, offers the possibility of taking a guided tour inside St. Mark's Basilica in order to understand the biblical-theological message container within the cathedral's mosaics, which cover more than 8,500 sq. m of surface area.

The tours can be taken every day (excluding Sundays and holidays) from April to October at 11 a.m. The meeting point is in the basilica's atrium next to the centre doorway - right side - where the calendar for other tours is given in detail in Italian and other languages.

Groups are accepted only with prior reservations.
