Description of the logo of St. Mark's Basilica Site
The logo of St. Mark's Basilica is in capital letters. The characters
are refined but they don't have not a definite style.
Four different colours (sky-blue, blue, gold and grey) remind the elements
that we find in the Basilica and in Venice. The four colours define and
divide the single words "Basilica di San Marco" reproducing
what the Basilica represents that is heterogeneous artistic and architectonic
styles that merge into the monument as a whole.
